Honoring My Senior Dachshunds – A Life Filled with Purpose

​

For over a decade, I worked in the insurance industry. But in 2021, everything changed when my four senior Dachshunds began to show signs that time was catching up with them. I left my job and devoted myself to caring for them full-time, starting with sweet Jewel.

Over the span of about 12 months, I had the

privilege of guiding, comforting, and simply

being present for each of them as they

reached the end of their journeys. It was a

time filled not just with love and loss, but

with deep purpose.

Building a New Pack – Meet Ruby & Frankie

As I began to sense their time was drawing near,

I felt an instinctive need to bring home Ruby

—my little Dachshund you can see today. Not

long after, I rescued Frankie, a Beagle, and

began rebuilding our pack.

Opening Our Home to Your Dogs – Thoughtful Boarding & Care

​

As time has passed, having just two dogs has given my partner and me a little more freedom to travel and 

make meaningful memories. But when we’re not off on adventures, we’re home—with room to  spare—

and happy to open our home to you and your dogs.
